9.2 Using ‘Time shift’
The EM7282 also has a ‘Time Shift’ function. Using this function, you will be able to
pause a live broadcasting for a specific amount of time and continue the broadcasting
the moment you want. This way, the media player will ‘record’ the live broadcasting,
which allows you to skip the commercial breaks and continue the program.
1. Use the navigation buttons to select ‘DVB TV’ and press the ‘OK’ button after
which the media player switches to the DVB-T mode.
2. Use the numeric buttons on the remote control to select a TV channel. For
example: If you want to watch a TV channel which is stored on channel ‘23’,
press the ‘2’ and then ‘3’ button in succession on the remote control to go to the
TV channel which is stored on channel 23.
3. Press the ‘Time Shift’ button on the remote control after which the program will
be paused.
4. You will see a time indicator which shows the time you started time shifting and
the current time.
5. Press the ‘Play’ button (II) on the remote control to continue the
program/broadcasting.
6. Press the previous button (◄◄) on the remote control to return to the beginning
of the broadcasting. You can press the previous button several times to speed-up
the ‘rewinding’ of the broadcasting. Press the ‘Play’ button (II) to start the
program.
7. When playing the broadcasting and the commercials are starting, you can use
the ‘forward’ button (►►) on the remote control to skip the commercials. Press
the ‘Play’ button again when the commercials are over.
9.3 Manually record a broadcasting
Use the following steps to manually record the current broadcasting.
3. Press the red button on the remote control after which the broadcasting will be
recorded. Press the red button again to select the amount of time the recording
must continue. For example: If you choose ‘OTR: 60 Min,’ it means the current
recording will continue for the next 60 minutes.
